The piece was hand made by mothers or guardians of Ngong Road Children Association students from the slums of Nairobi whose lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS. Purchasing this product helps their families' financial stability and supports the mission of Friends of Ngong Road -- to transform the lives of Kenyan children living in poverty through the power of education.
