Anne Briggs is an award-winning artist whose love of the sea is reflected in her life and paintings.  She works in acrylic and watercolor with a technique that often blends realistic depiction through drawing in pen and ink with more interpretive washes of color. Anne's latest explorations are watercolors on yupo paper. Recent juried exhibitions include "The National", "All New England" and "All Cape Cod" at the Cape Cod Art Association, "Juried Members Exhibit" at Concord Art Association, and invitational shows at the Old Schwamb Mill in Arlington. Anne has studied art locally and regionally, and at in-residence programs in Provence, France and at West Dean College in Chichester, England
