Homecoming 1945 is a compilation of beautiful songs which were written and performed during the WW2 era. There are many big band songs, Frank Sinatra, Andrew Sisters, etc. etc. It's amazing how one can hear these beautiful songs, so filled with love, faith, hope, and patriotism, and actually understand all the lyrics. In those days performers did not over vocalize and distort the lyrics; also the lyrics come from the heart and soul, and are clean, beautiful and inspirational. Not to mention the beautiful melodies. These cd's are from an era that won a terrible war filled with Americans who were patriots and this country was ONEAmerica; unfortunately, it's not like that today. But you can still listen to this music and enjoy that era.
