Eleven years ago, in February 2002, Elena Brower opened Virayoga as a downtown refuge for New York City. Virayoga is now a multi-traditional international hub for yoga and wellness, hosting respected teachers of yoga, meditation, coaching and healing modalities.

As a student at Virayoga, you will experience a range of core traditions with some of New York’s most beloved teachers. Come practice Hatha, vinyasa flow, Anusara, Kundalini, restoratives, meditation, and more. We welcome you to Virayoga, whether you’re a native New Yorker or dropping in from out of town. Practice feeling great!
