Our diagnostic evaluation includes a battery of widely recognized tests used to identify a student's academic strengths and weaknesses. The evaluation also includes a personal consultation in which we will explain the results of the test and the processes of reading, spelling, comprehernsion, and writing as rthey apply to the individual student.

The Literacy and Language Center has specialists with over fifteen years combined experience in clinical and educational settings, experience teaching a broad range of ages from pre-kindergarten to adult, and experience with learning differences, learning disabilities, dyslexia, central auditory processing disorders (CAPD), ADD, ADHD, cognitive and neurological disorders, Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD), including Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.
