Dinner and a movie, at the filmmakers house in Bernal Heights!

Join filmmaker and Synergy parent Gail Mallimson for dinner and a private screening of the award-winning documentary "Room To Breathe" at her house in Bernal Heights. 

Gail produced and edited this hour-long film that takes place in Marina Middle School, a San Francisco public school that has the worst discipline record in the city. Frustrated, school officials hire a mindfulness meditation teacher to work with the school's most troubled 7th grade class, and "Room to Breathe" follows their transformation. Gail will talk about the process of making the film and answer questions after the screening.
