National Mill Dog Rescue has a Lost Dogs Team.  This volunteer team helps fosters and adopters if a dog goes missing.  Recovering a skittish puppy mill survivor is not always easy and requires skill, knowledge, strategy, and sometimes specialized equipment. This year NMDR's Lost Dogs Team has been able to successfully find and recover a number of lost dogs.  Our team works tirelessly from the moment we find out a dog is missing (puppy mill survivors can be flight risks), until the dog is recovered.

We have found the Snappy Snare to be a useful tool in recovering fearful dogs.  It gives us the ability to safely reach a dog who might flee when we approach.  We would love to purchase one for our Lost Dogs Team.
