Up for bidding is a custom-made urn for your beloved pet's ashes. The Urn will be made of clay and fired with Raku Glazes in a Raku kiln. When you fire Raku the white glazes crackle and you place the piece while hot in a covered can with sawdust  which smokes and makes the edges of the crackle and unglazed areas turn black.  The Urn will be made especially for the winner and will incorporate a silhouette of the dog breed of their choice on the handle.  I will also need to know the size of the dogs whose ashes will be placed in the Urn so I'll know what size to make it.  The Urn shown in the photo is a prototype.  The crackle patterns on the final pieces will not be exactly like the one shown.
