Taylor Stitch is located at 383 Valencia Street in the Mission, between 14th & 15th Streets. They have set out to create the best custom shirt possible by partnering with a family business that has been manufacturing custom shirts in the U.S. for over 85 years. Working closely with the factory and their customers, they trimmed fits and modernized style details to create a more versatile shirt.

Every Wednesday morning, they release a new collection of products. Each collection is unique, designed in San Francisco, limited in number and manufactured in California. 

In March of 2008, they began everything in their apartment at the corner of Taylor & Clay Streets in San Francisco right near Cathedral School for Boys. Two years later, they used the hundreds of measurements on file to perfect our first collection of button up shirts. They opened a number of pop-up shops all over the city until they settled into the space on Valencia Street.

Taylor Stitch is relentlessly focused on fit as well as construction and will continue to slowly develop new offerings, working piece by piece to modernize classic staples that are both rugged and refined.

In addition to their own line of men’s and women’s button-up shirts, jeans, knits and accessories they have worked closely with Rancourt and Company, to develop a made-to-order shoe program. There is also an expertly curated section of vintage Rolex timepieces which they worked on with Fourtané.

Alongside their own products, they proudly and loyally carry the brands of their good friends and earliest supporters: Tellason Denim, Joshu + Vela, Makr Carry Goods, Goodhew, Uniform Wares, Dodo Case, Anonymous Ism, Enormous Champion and Forage.
