Rite of Spring: The Cathedral Round(ish) Table on Saturday, May 17th

Item Number: 525
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Gather together with your hosts, Sean Breen (aka Igor Stravinsky) and The Good Padre Mehrdad Abidari (and his alter-ego Ernest Hemingway), for an intriguing evening of music, dinner and drink, and conversation!
2013 marked the 100th anniversary of Stravinsky's revolutionary Rite of Spring and the first year of this CSB Gala offering. In 2014 we are back by popular demand!
At the beginning of the 20th Century the world was changing wildly. It was the time of Louis Armstrong and the Jazz Age. F. Scott Fitzgerald, Langston Hughes, T.S. Eliot, Coco Chanel, John D. Rockefeller, Henry Ford, Pablo Picasso, (we could go on)...all moving the world in their own ways.
And in those times before YouTube, Ted Talks and TMZ there was Gertrude & Alice's apartment and Dorothy Parker and her Vicious Circle. Here is your chance to bring it back with our own Cathedral Round(ish) Table!
Mr. Breen will lead us into the world of music. Where we go from there, you, dear guests, will get to decide.
Want to join but not sure what you'd say? Let your inspiration be President Calvin Coolidge, known as "Silent Cal". Or bring your best one-liner for our Not-So-Vicious Circle. Most importantly, bring your curiosity, sense of humor, and love of good food, drink and excellent company.
Live performance by pianist and CSB parent Andrew Corsello (Casper, 3rd, and Quincy 5th). Hosted at the home of Jennifer and Chris Brahm.
Special Instructions
Open to the Cathedral community only, please. Party will take place on Saturday night, May 17th starting at 6:30 at the Brahm's home.
