Olive Harvest Day in Healdsburg for Four Families

Item Number: 540
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Four CSB families are invited to join the Gretch family at Carrie’s parents' farm in Healdsburg for a fun morning of harvesting olives followed by lunch! The stunning ranch started as a flower farm and has grown into making olive oil, vinegar and honey. Beautiful photos of the farm can be found at: chalkhillclematis.com.
The olive harvest is on a Sunday at the end of October or beginning of November (depending on the weather and avoiding fruit flies!). You’ll arrive in the morning to help other CSB families with taking the olives off the trees and putting them in giant bins to be hauled off to the olive oil press. Lunch will be provided and the family fun will end around 2:00 PM.
Special Instructions
Open to 4 families from the Cathedral community only.
Harvest date in Healdsburg on a Sunday TBD in late October or early November, morning until 2:00 PM. Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toed boots or shoes and also bring layers. Lunch will be provided.
