The framed and matted 11 by 14 photo captures the raw beauty of the Maine Coast at one of the most beautiful places on earth, Pemaquid Lighthouse.
Pemaquid lighthouse was first commissioned by John Quincy Adams in 1827 and is one of only a few Fresnel lens lights still in service. Featured on the Maine quarter, Pemaquid light sits on exposed bedrock that descends to the ocean below.
