Description
This quilt, the 41st of its type made by Florence Rose Martin, is based on a quilt pattern dating back to the 1700's. It is made from 1,343 individual rosettes which are pieced together and attached to a green backing. (There is no middle layer of batting for those of you who are quilt collectors)
Sure to be an heirloom, this quilt took 158 hours to make. Definitely one of a kind, it is made from more than 17 yards of fabric. It is reminscent of a summer garden and will be the focal point of any room in which it is displayed.
It measures 65 by 48 inches.
