Coach Bezner graduated from Temple High School in 2001 where he played varsity football, baseball, soccer, ran cross country, and even played water polo. After graduation he accepted a full scholarship to play soccer at Davidson in North Carolina. After a year at Davidson he transferred to the University of North Texas where he played 2 seasons on the football team and another 2 seasons for the UNT soccer team. He started his coaching career for the Dallas Tigers select baseball club for their 14 year old team and stayed with that team until they were nationally ranked by the age of 16. In the fall of 2011 Coach Bezner joined the Scots Baseball Club where he has coached multiple teams and players ranging from ages of 9-14.
