One lucky panther can be the "Counselor for the Day" on Friday, March 7, 2014. This student will assist Ms. Kissinger in the Counselor's Office! Each "Teacher for a Day/Staff Helper for a Day" student will receive a special t-shirt and faculty badge to wear on the special day, have his or her name included in the morning announcements, help with special tasks requested by the teacher or staff person, have a group picture taken for the yearbook, and enjoy a pizza lunch with the teacher or staff served in the teacher's lounge. The Counselor for the Day will also get to help teach a Kelso lesson to a first grade class, and get to go with Ms. Kissinger to HPHS to meet the Director of Guidance for HPISD and see the High School counseling office! The lucky winner will also enjoy lunch off campus with the "Principal for the Day." Please note that there cannot be sharing of this position.
