Treat yourself (and a guest) to a night of fun and support a great cause.   The Arthur J Turner, Jr. Scholarship Foundation holds its annual Semi-formal gala on Saturday, November 15, 2013.   The event is held in Delaware City, DE from 6PM until midnight and will include live entertainment, dinner,  silent auction and a photo booth.   This gala is in honor of Arthur J. Turner, Jr.  who contracted a rare form of pediatric cancer at the age of 17.   His family founded the foundation in his honor which currently funds college scholarships to low-income youth in our community.    Darlene Turner, a DuPont employee, is the mother of Arthur Jr. and recently has been named “DuPont U.S. Working Mother of the Year”.
