Potential life-saving skills, empowerment, and a great time are all part of the Women's Self Defense seminar offered by Waring parents Caroline and Kendall Buhl at Tokyo Joe's Studios of Self Defense.  Participants learn simple but effective skills and principles, like how to deliver a powerful strike (everyone breaks a board!), the most effective targets on an attacker's body, and practical tricks for escaping from grabs.  Students then apply their skills on an instructor wearing a "Red Man" outfit.  This is something every woman should do at least once!
