For the culinary enthusiast, Waterfront Kitchen invites you and a guest to attend one hands-on, fun, daytime cooking class taught by Chef Jerry Pellegrino.  This seed-to-plate American cuisine restaurant sources local and seasonal ingredients, and has partnered with the non-profit organization, Living Classrooms Foundation, to help with two of their programs.  The Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students Program teaches inner-city grade school children about gardening, good nutrition, and applied academics.  The students grow produce for Waterfront Kitchen in gardens and a greenhouse located in close proximity to the restaurant.  Waterfront Kitchen also supports Living Classrooms’ Project Serve Job Training Program by hiring disadvantaged area residents and ex-offenders who are determined to become productive members of society for jobs in their kitchen and dining room.  These individuals learn marketable skills and gain job experience, creating the prospect of thriving careers in the hospitality industry.  The restaurant offers sweeping views of the Baltimore Harbor from the westernmost tip of Thames Street in Historic Fells Point.  During warm weather seasons, there is outdoor seating.
