One day of surf camp for four (4) lucky individuals!  This camp is geared for the novice, beginner and intermediate surfer.  No experience is necessary.  Safety, fun and appreciation for surfing and the ocean will be the emphasis. John Kim is a Dean, science teacher and sponsor of the Harvard-Westlake surf club. He is a Los Angeles County Lifeguard and a Coordinator with the Los Angeles County Junior Lifeguard Program.  Mr. Kim is an experienced emergency medical technician and has been an ocean lifeguard for over 25 years.  He has taught surfing and ocean safety for over a decade and has traveled and surfed in several different countries.  The student-to-teacher ratio will be no more than 4:1.  All surfers will meet at Rosecrans Street in Manhattan Beach.  Surfboards, wetsuits, and a daily lunch will also be provided.
