SOARing to Armenia: Our Adoption Story

George and Erica Yacoubian adopted their older daughter, Liliana, from Armenia in 2005. In the spring of 2006, the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR) was launched, a nonprofit organization that provides humanitarian relief to orphaned Armenian children throughout the world. This book represents the first time that George has reflected not just on the adoption process, but on the humanitarian efforts that were inspired by that adoption.
