Playing House is about Maggie (Lennon), a single mother-to-be who invites her single career-minded best friend Emma (Jessica), to her baby shower. Unbeknownst to Emma, Maggie is planning to ask her friend to help raise her unborn baby. It's based on the real life friendship of Lennon and Jessica. It is also the first ever original comedy series from the USA Network.
