Since 1967, renowned portrait artists Mel and Elaine Rota have been creating commissioned portraits of individuals, families, and children. Nationally recognized for their eloquent handling of light and a style of soft, romantic realism, a Rota portrait shows not merely what you look like, but who you really are.

Our auction item includes (a) our services, (design conference and session, valued at $2000), (b) an 8x10 photograph from your session, and (c) if you choose to purchase anything else from your session, you will also receive a gift certificate equal to the amount of your bid. Portrait prices begin at $2,400 for a 16x20 canvas portrait. All work will be done at your home. Our services include a three-hour design conference at the bidder's home, an extensive photographic session with over one hundred image from which to choose, and three hour selection appointment in your home.
