Music Director Jeremy Denk is throwing a party, and he's calling it the 2014 Ojai Music Festival. His guest list is broad and inclusive from the Baroque to the music of today but it's a party with a theme, and that theme is music about music.  The 2014 Ojai Festival will present the world premiere of the commissioned opera The Classical Style conducted by Robert Spano, with music by Steven Stucky and a libretto by Jeremy Denk.

Joining Jeremy Denk will be jazz pianist/composer Uri Caine, the Knights, violinist Jennifer Frautschi, conductor Robert Spano, performing piece by Mahler, Ives, Janacek, Ligeti, Mozart, Beethoven, and cutting edge Brooklyn-based composers, and more.
