Lumete's Templanza frame has been featured in Harper's Bazaar, The Aesthete, and on the The Today Show. A chiseled, cat-eye rectangular front is complemented by striking oblique sculptural temples in Templanza's dramatic and daring design. The royal cobalt frames are a luxurious mottled acetate in deep cobalt blue, gold and clear.
The Templanza style has been seen worn by actress and former model, Gretchen Mol.

The name Lumete ('lou-met') is derived from amulet, which means a precious object used for protection and luck, and lumen, meaning light.
Lumete's sunglasses are handmade zyl acetate, and the lenses are hard coated CR39. The lenses are rated UV 400, for 100% UVA and UVB protection and they meet all relevant American, European and Australian standards. Each pair of Lumete sunglasses is accompanied by its own custom-designed hard case, soft pouch and microfiber lens cleaning cloth.
