About the Artist

Creating heartfelt images has been a consistent theme throughout Hollands life. Whether she is developing concepts on paper, canvas, or metal plates, she strives to draw honest and intriguing lines, to investigate the beautiful, as well as the odd, and to illuminate the common.

Holland Berkley's aim for her art is to convey a sense of mystery and wonder. Her human forms, which are abstracted and straying from the literal, are placed in an array of graphic symbols and universal patterns inspired by primitive cultures.

Over the course of her career, Berkley has been honored with numerous awards and exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the country.
