This auction is for a 14 1/2" x 12 1/2" matted print titled 'Battle Over Skelligs' signed by artist Jim Yarbrough.
On rare occasions, dragons have been drafted into service as military mounts, when sufficient magical powers were mobilized to persuade them to cooperate. Here they engage above Ireland's Skellig Rocks in a war between the old order and the new.
Jim Yarbrough has been drawing and painting dragons for many years and has come to know a number of them quite well, including a green dragon that lives in his immediate neighborhood.
This fine art giclee was printed on acid-free paper using pigment inks, and signed by the artist.
