Merlin:  Merlin, one of our Feline Leukemia-positive cats, has been with MRFRS for almost 3 years now!  Merlin was very shy when he first came to us and spent a lot of time hiding.  He finally realized that people are OK and getting love and attention is pretty good! Because Merlin is FeLV- positive, his life span will be shorter than the average cat — but he’d still love to have a home through our Care for Life program.  He is a wonderful, quiet, affectionate guy these days and absolutely loves to cuddle with the other FeLV+ cats he lives with.  As a Care for Life cat, when Merlin is adopted, MRFRS will be responsible for any medical costs related to his feline leukemia. But until that happens, Merlin would be so happy to know that someone cared enough about him to be his sponsor!
