John Cassas returns to ACC for his second season, first as the Head Racquets Professional. John grew up on Bogota, Colombia where he competed at the national and international level during his career. Before accepting an athletic scholarship in 2003 at the top 10 nationally ranked school Concordia College in New York, he was ranked among the top 10 players in Colombia; during his junior career he represented the country in international competition. Now an avid paddle player, John currently holds a national APTA ranking of #44. He is also part of the elite group of racquet sports professionals “Team Prince” as a player, promoter and consultant for both tennis and platform tennis across the country. John brings to Ardsley over 10 years of tennis and platform tennis coaching experience working at clubs such as Shenorock Shore Club, Sound Shore Tennis and Old Oaks Country Club in Westchester as well as The Patterson club in Fairfield, CT.
