Host a live roots-rock concert at your private party! Greetings From Anywhere will perform a two hour show at your home or other nearby venue. Formed in 2007, Dobbs Ferry's own Greetings From Anywhere blends folk, blues, bluegrass and country into a unique roots-rock hybrid, performing with the gritty, impromptu abandon of a good-old-time garage band. Veterans of the Hudson Valley pub and festival circuit, GFA features a diverse array of original tunes alongside reinterpreted feel-good covers. The band is coming off a successful run of shows at NYC landmark clubs The Bitter End and Mercury Lounge this winter and is currently working on an album at Dobbs Ferry's Riverworks Recording studio. GFA is comprised of Sheila Noonan-Gorham and Andrew Schriever on acoustic guitars and vocals, Doug Schneider on drums, Adam Friedman on bass, Michael Chatham on baritone guitar, blues harp and dobro and Liz Mackanesi on fiddle.
