Description

Enjoy an afternoon with friends at the symphony.

Harvard trained practicing psychiatrist and world-renowned concert pianist Richard Kogan, MD gives insights into how composer Sergei Rachmaninoff battled depression and a mental breakdown, yet survived to write the glorious Piano Concerto No. 2, dedicated to his psychiatrist. For the intellectually curious who long for the story behind the music, the first part of this concert involves a lecture before performing the entire piece.

This package includes 2 tickets to the Mankato Symphony
Orchestra’s production of Deconstructing Rachmaninoff on Sunday, March 2 at 2pm. The performance will be held in the Mankato West Auditorium.
