This giant stuffed pony is Shamrock, made exclusively for Wells Fargo.  On display in the Faribault, MN branch in late 2013, Shamrock is ready for a permanent home.  Over 3 feet long from nose to hind quarters, Shamrock has a fluffy white mane and tail and big dark eyes that seem to say, "Take me home with you." 

Shamrock's tag states that the real Shamrock was a prize Wells Fargo stallion formerly in service at Saint Louis.  The Union Depot in St. Louis, MO, was one of the world's largest train stations.  Every morning dozens of Wells Fargo wagons, and horses like Shamrock, would pick up and deliver the express packages arriving by train from all over the country.
