Al Sadrpour spent thirty years compiling this collection. Thousands of rolls of film were expended and thousands of miles were traveled in order to gather the material that made this book possible. But no matter the degree of satisfaction he feels at now being able to share his experiences with us, it pales by comparison with the warmth and pleasure he derived from meeting and forming a trusting bond with each of his subjects. As a result of this kinship, Al is dedicating this book to those who made it possible, those new found friends who allowed him to photograph them.
