Description
Learn how to make traditional tamales! Doña Tere and Irma Velsaco, grandmother and aunt of freshman Brianna Velasco, will teach you how to make delicious tamales from scratch. Your group of up to six guests will learn how to prepare the masa, clean the corn husk, fill and wrap the ingredients (chicken, pork, vegetarian, or sweet), and steam your tasty creations. This class and meal will take place at Doña Tere's Market in the heart of the Mission District.
