Originally from New York, Rich has been West since 1988. He had a 20 year career in the High Tech Industry and then decided to pursue his passions of skiing & golf. Moving to Truckee, he ran the Alpine Meadows ski program and later became Head Coach at Mt Rose. He has coached World Cup & Olympic athletes. At Northstar, he has concentrated on the Masters program, coaching numerous National Champions. He is a 2 time graduate of USSA's National Coaches Academy and is a USSA Alpine Official, Technical Delegate, Referee, and Chief of Course. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.
