Each year, our very own junior free-ride and snowboard athletes, qualify to compete in national events. The USASA Nationals are March 29-April 8, 2014 at Copper Mountain in Colorado. Snowboards might qualify for Volcom PBRJ, which is an independent tour scheduled in April at Mammoth. 

Qualifying is one hurdle and the other is affording to compete.  Given the travel, these competitions are extremely expensive to attend and some qualifying athletes cannot go without support.
