Do you know a little one who loves trains? Bring the family out to the Illinois Railway Museum in Union for a day to see what has evolved into an educational and historic preservation site dedicated to recreating possibly the largest operating demonstration railroad showcase on the North American continent.
Cap off your day of railway fun in downtown Bartlett to visit the historic train station, the current Metra station and then walk over to 2 Toots Train Whistle Grill where your food will be delivered on a track via a small model train. Enjoy a $25 gift certificate and 2 free train whistle cupcakes.
Special Instructions
The One Day Family Pass from Illinois Railway Museum is valid for two parents and their children under age 18 for entry and unlimited rides on equipment operating that day. The pass will NOT be honored at the Day Out With Thomas event or any other event where a special ticket is required to ride the train such as Terror on the Railroad and Happy Holiday Railway. Must be used during the 2014 Operating Season which runs from April through October. Refer to IRM website for operating hours and days.
