Have a custom 10" x 10" portrait painted for you by local portrait artist, Kathy Honey located in nearby Geneva.  She studied art and developed her style at the School of Representational Art in Chicago, Illinois.

The portrait process is a collaboration between Kathy and her client. If you live in the Chicago area, she can meet with you to discuss your specific desires for the work.

Considerations of lighting, background, location and expression are all taken into consideration. She understands that it is not always practical for a client to spend hours sitting for a portrait. For this reason she makes sketches and take carefully crafted reference photographs during one of your meetings with her.  The process from start to finish takes approximately one month.

When finished, your portrait in oil on canvas will be ready for framing.
