The kindergarteners in Mrs. Geis's class have had fun exploring self-representation and the messy fun of chalk pastels this year.

For this project, the students printed their hands in tempera on bright card stock and then chose two-layered background color combinations to render in pastels. Everyone had a good time "painting" with their hands and fingers to create a Pop Art-inspired masterpiece.
