Our project is a collage piece that celebrates nature with the creation of a class tree.  Each child created a "leaf".  The artists used torn tissue in greens and oranges to produce a "leaf" that expressed their own personal style. 

When complete, all of these elements were applied to a canvas which had been painted sky blue.

Finally, a snippet of the poem "Trees" by Joyce Kilmer was added to the background to round out our tree theme.
