Our class traced their hands, chose and wrote a word in their hands, then painted them with watercolor.

The word they chose has meaning to them.   It's something important to them. Their little hands produce so much creativity and their words have so much meaning.

These same hands were used in the tote bag project. We later turned the hands into leaves with more watercolor and cut these out to glue on top of a large 60 inch x 30 inch canvas painted with acrylic paint.
