Your hosts for the evening, CMS Science teachers Cathy Bockenstedt & Bill Prem, will come to your home with all the necessary equipment to see the stars & planets. They'll bring telescopes, star charts, wine & beer. They'll show constellations and stars and tell a few of their associated myths. You'll see any visible planets and the Moon. Cathy & Bill will help you use your Star Walk Apps, if you like. And they'll pin point the next viewing of the International Space Station as it circles Earth!

Depending on the date you choose, you may have the opportunity to view the moon, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn through a high-powered telescope. You will be treated to a tour of major constellations and some of the fascinating legend and lore that goes with them. Cathy & Bill will help you pick a date that will maximize your viewing experience.

This party also comes with the option to sample a variety of astronomy themed beer and wine selections.
