Founded in 1921, the women of JLRI are comitted to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

To date, more than 16,000 League members have contributed 2.2 million hours of volunteer service benefitting 255 community service organizations.
