Michael and Lisa Mendell and Wayward Spring Farm  donate one slot in therif Jim Wofford Monthly Jumping Clinics.  2014 dates too be announced; slot must be used in 2014 and will be honored if space is available at the time of booking.

Jim is a highly accomplished United States Olympic and World Championship Eventing Team member with numerous team and individual medals as well as winning the US National Championships five times on five different horses.  Since 1978, Jim has had at least one student on every U.S. Olympic, World Championship and Pan American Eventing team.  He has received accolades as a U.S. Developing Rider Coach and as the Canadian Eventing Team Coach.  We are very excited that Jim has agreed to teach locally in Huntly, Virginia.  

Lessons will be in groups of approximately 4 riders at similar levels (Intermediate - 3’9”, Preliminary - 3’7”, Training - 3’3”, Novice - 2’11”).  If there is increased interest, the organizers may develop multiple groups at the same level.  Lessons will last for approximately 75 minutes.

Depending on the weather conditions, the lessons will either take place in our 100’ x 200’ indoor ring or in our 215’x 215’ outdoor arena.

The cost for riders is $125 per lesson (auditing for the remaining lessons is included).  Auditing alone is available for $25 for the entire day.
