The wine is from a blend of the Pinot clones 667, 828, and La Tache grown in a vineyard block dominated by Haire gravelly clay loam soils. The result is an elegant Pinot with subtle red and black skinned berry notes and a background of fine spices- nothing over-the-top, as it benefits from the cooler climate of the Sonoma Coast.
