Designer: Mychael Knight
Construction paper gone wild creates a curve-enhancing silhouette with cut-outs and bare shoulders. Sliced rubber balls, jump rope and triangles of paper, create a bustier and that frames the torso. Plastic rhomboids accent at neck. Paper triangles hot-glued to muslin create a body-contoured skirt. “Sexy construction paper” is no longer an oxymoron.
Materials: Muslin, melted ironed-crayon, spray mount, blue and purple construction paper, rubber balls, jump rope, hot glue.
Sizing: Dress was photographed on a size 2 mannequin.

The dress is a work of art and and not meant to be worn. The garment may have sustained minor damage in the storage and shipping process. Professional designers working with photographs of the Final Look repaired the dresses with original materials where available. Some dresses held up to storage and shipping better than others.
Repairs: The glue dried out in storage and some paper triangles fell off or were rubbed off. Original pieces were applied when possible. Using the original triangles as a guide our designers cut new triangles and re-applied them.
