Description
Enjoy two tickets to the Budapest Festival Orchestra at Lincoln Center! Magnificent interpreter Iván Fischer returns to Lincoln Center to conduct his Budapest Festival Orchestra in this lively program.
“Prodigiously skilled” (New York Times) conductor Iván Fischer brings his Budapest Festival Orchestra to complete the orchestral season with an exploration of Antonín Dvorák, the Czech composer famed for his Bohemian folk melodies. Pianist Garrick Ohlsson applies his “phenomenal pianism” (Financial Times) to Dvorák’s rarely performed Piano Concerto, which echoes themes from the Slavonic Dances.
“Exceptional…the Budapest Festival Orchestra under its founder-conductor Iván Fischer has a vitality and character all its own.” —Independent (London)
