Description
The well-established midtown Manhattan law firm Sydney, Amster, Green & Horowitz PLLC, with more than 50 years of estate-planning experience, offers its standard estate planning consultation package. This includes the drafting of a Last Will & Testament, guardianship provisions and trust arrangements for children, as well as other valuable estate-planning documents (i.e, living will, health care proxy, and power of attorney). The drafting of these documents is a collaborative process that generally requires two visits to the firm and the diligent delivery of the key pieces of information to the attorney so that timely and proper drafting can occur. The firm's relationship with the winning bidder will create an attorney-client relationship and all information revealed shall be and will always remain private and confidential.
Special Instructions
The winning bidder must make their initial connection with the firm prior to July 1, 2014. Service will be considered complete after the signing ceremony which must take place within two months after the onset of representation unless otherwise agreed upon. Once the relationship is commenced the client will be afforded all the protections and rights that affix to any client represented by an attorney in the State of New York. Failure of the winning bidder to contact the firm for the initial estate planning consultation will possibly result in the forfeiture of the prize.
The average fee for the contemplated service is estimated at $2,500.00. Estate planning and document drafting can be a very complex process. If a prospective bidder anticipates that their estate planning needs might be of the more complex variety, the firm encourages contacting them in advance of the auction close so that the firm can advise if it foresees additional charges being billed due to the complex nature of the bidder's estate.
