Come share a gudied hike to Kaaterskill Falls! Lori Gross will be your fearless leader as you climb the trail to a truly magical geological treasure. Located in the Eastern Catskill Mountains between the hamlets of Palenville and Haines Falls, the dual cascades total 260 feet (79 m) in height, making it one of the higher waterfalls in New York. The falls are one of America's oldest tourist attractions, with it appearing in some of the most prominent books, essays, poems and paintings of the early 19th century.
Special Instructions
This is a moderate hike on rough and rocky terrain. Good hiking shoes are a necessity. Pack your own picnic lunch and gather up some of your friends or family to join us on our adventure! Please call or e-mail Lori to arrange a good date for our trip.
