Sailing is one of the most unique sports in that it is an intellectual as well as physical activity. Learning to sail engages kids minds, and provides a practical and fun real world application for the subjects kids learn in school. So often kids say  "why do i need to know that, ill never use it!"  They will if they want to be able to sail. Math, physics, earth science, ecology, history and problem solving are all necessary skills for the competent sailor.

Most importantly, Sailing empowers kids to do something real by connecting with and respecting the natural world around them. They learn to transport themselves and their crew-mates using their wits and mother nature!

We cant wait to see you all on the water soon for what will be our most exciting season yet!
