Keeping Your Bond Strong Through the Pre-Teen Years (Ages 10-12) Dates: May 02, 2014 - May 04, 2014 or 10/17/2014 - 10/19/2014 Sil Reynolds and her 23-year-old daughter, Eliza Reynolds, lead mothers and their 10-to-12-year-old daughters in a weekend of initiation, communication, and celebration.

We take the time to nourish our relationship and learn how to respect and understand each other more completely. Through ritual, storytelling, art, and exercises in communication, we gain tools that build bridges and keep those bridges strong through the teen years. Mothers have time with Sil to share the joys and challenges of mothering a preteen, including working on strategies for keeping the bond strong and finding the balance of holding on and letting go. Daughters have time with Eliza, and her team of teen assistants, to express their feelings and share their vision-not only as daughters, but also as emerging teens and young women. With participants from around the country, the group comes together to create a wonderfully supportive community. Throughout the weekend, mothers and daughters learn new ways of being together in mutual respect and love-and have fun!

By engaging in creative and fun techniques designed to help mothers and daughters communicate well, you can learn to create more ease and joy through the teen years.
